Syfy Sets A Date For “Lost Girl”

So today’s topic is a bit of news made by Syfy that went almost unnoticed to everyone that isn’t a groupie of Showcase’s ‘Lost Girl’ and more precisely the constantly shipped on-screen in-love-with-each-other-but-have-serious-issues couple of Bo and Lauren. ‘Lost Girl’ will debut on Syfy on January 16th 2012 at 10pm EST.

The spook channel made the announcement in October during their Digital Press Tour in Orlando, Florida for the premiere of the series. ‘Lost Girl’ is currently in the middle of its second season, 22-episode run. Therefore below I have provided a gift, but be warned it’s totally NSFW!

After that delicious wetting of our palette, I have gathered a dessert that is sure to have you begging for more. Scheduled to air tomorrow is Glee’s S3 x E7 “I Kissed a Girl” episode. I have to say the mere thought of having to sit through that song again made me cringe. However after seeing the performance of the song by Santana (Naya Rivera) and company, the pull of the lightheartedness of this on the basis of Santana’s coming out is the only winning attribute. OK…well, seeing a bunch of ladies all touchy-feelie on-screen for any excuse is as well, but that is besides the point. The real question here is, are you incredibly distressed that the Glee team didn’t pick the more appropriate original, ‘I kissed a girl’ by Jill Sobule, slightly perturbed or just glad we can kiss a girl?

In other news, stunt woman extraordinaire Zoe Bell (Death Proof, Whip It, Bitch Slap), starts in the up-coming film Raze. Bell will do all her own stunt work as well as producing the film. Raze will also star actress Rachel Nichols (Conan The Barbarian, Alias) and with a description being quoted as a cross between ‘Fight Club’ and ‘Hostel’,  having two bad-ass women on the screen at the same time doing things to each others body usually does it for me but after viewing the promo I have to say the jury is still out on this one for me. You be the judge and share your opinion after you watch the  PROMO.

The following tit-bits are merely to feed (most of us and if your here, that includes you!) our hunger for any lezzy entertainment gossip. So here goes;

Girl/Girl Scene Episode 108 season finale trailer is now up on their website. The Final episode, Till The Heart Caves In, will now premiere on 19th Dec., so be sure to check for it on their webpage on PNT Tv.

Sara Gilbert (The Talk) who separated from her girlfriend and co-mother of her two children early this year seemed to have turned in her ticket for her ride on the dating train as she was seen engaging in a very cozy PDA hand-holding with rocker, Linda Perry as they strolled through West Hollywood. I wish them all the very best if indeed this is true because in all honesty I have to add they have not made any official statement confirming or denying the relationship.

Lastly I have saved the bad news towards the end. It is with much sadness that I regret to inform you (if you already didn’t know) that the planned online version of ‘All My Children‘ have now been officially axed. So Minx is gone forever. I will miss you Bianca and Marissa. Thank God (whomever that is to you…) there are still the many, many, many ship videos so readily available on YouTube, PNT Tv and all the other shipper outlets online. However, much as I hate to add salt to the wound, I must mention that for Otalia fans the dream lives on in ‘Venice the webseries’. As they just premiered their third season episode for free on YouTube which I have so sweetly embed for your viewing pleasure. So till next time darlings, now go check it out!

  1. Funny how the first thing you mention is Lost Girl getting an official air date in the US and then totally forget to put the date! 🙂 For anyone else reading this, the season 1 premiere will be on January 16th on Syfy. If you haven’t already heard of the show, just check it out – you’ll love it! 🙂

  2. Sara Gilbert and Linda Perry look good together (can’t say such nice things about the comments to the linked story on TMZ). I wish them well, if they are indeed a couple.

    I wish the Katy Perry “I Kissed A Girl” would go away. The only reasons I can fathom why it’s the go-to instead of the original is 1) the Katy Perry version is newer and people tend to struggle to remember what happened five minutes ago, much less the early 90s, and 2) Katy Perry’s version was more the straight guy fantasy of why girls kiss.

    By the way, like the blog. Nice colors and layout. Just thought I’d say that.
